Hashim is a highly accomplished Senior Programme Manager at Hanovia Limited with over 10 years of professional experience in monitoring and evaluation, research, and programme implementation across the health, education, and development sectors in Nigeria. He has a strong track record of successfully managing complex, multi-state projects and leading large-scale impact evaluations and field operations for international development partners and research institutions. Recognized for his technical expertise, operational leadership, and problem-solving abilities, Hashim consistently delivers high-quality project outcomes under demanding field conditions. His experience spans project coordination, stakeholder engagement, data quality management, and evidence-based programme implementation.
Hashim has led and contributed to several high-impact projects supported by organisations such as the World Bank, J-PAL, UNICEF, and DFID. He has extensive experience coordinating large-scale surveys, impact evaluations, and research studies across multiple states in Nigeria. His work includes contributions to the Development Innovation Lab (DIL) study focused on scaling safe water practices to reduce child mortality in Nigeria, as well as the University of California, Berkeley study on optimizing the benefits of inline chlorination in Nigeria. He has also supported the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) programme aimed at strengthening polio interventions through the enumeration of under-five children and pregnant women in Jigawa State, and contributed to the implementation of the Post Event Coverage Survey (PECS) in collaboration with UNICEF and Helen Keller International. In addition, Hashim possesses strong expertise in field team management, operational planning, training and capacity building, data quality assurance, Hausa translation and transcription, and adherence to research protocols.
Academically, Hashim holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Computer Science from Kano State Polytechnic and a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management from Nasarawa State University. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Project Management, further strengthening his expertise in programme and project delivery.
