In 2009, the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs commissioned needs assessment baseline survey on all educational and health institutions and recreational facilities located in Bayelsa and Rivers states.
Hanovia visited all communities and collected data on all public and private health and educational institutions (primary, secondary and tertiary) and also all recreational facilities available in both states. In all, over 3500 educational institutions and 2000 health facilities were surveyed in over 2500 communities in the States.
