The objecves of the survey were to: (a) quanfy the impact of COVID-19 on private outpaent healthcare providers; (b) idenfy major changes in paent care-seeking behaviors and paerns among newly diagnosed TB paents in the private sector as well as paents presenng with chest or respiratory infecon symptoms; (c) esmate the effect of COVID-19 pandemic on costs of private health services; (d) esmate the extent of changes in TB care, notably diagnosis, treatment, advice, referrals and overall quality of care document changes in government policy towards and engagement of the private healthcare sector as a result of COVID-19, and the impact of these policies on private providers. Overall, the survey was targeted at 2,903 private facilies and to a total of 200 private clinical paents (100 in each of Lagos and Kano States). A total of 180 of the 200 private clinical paents were administered a structured survey while the remaining 20 parcipated in qualitave interviews across both States
