The objecves of this consultancy were to: (a) carry out visits to all 183 senior secondary schools in Eki State; and (b) administer two main data collecon instruments – a quesonnaire the school principal (or someone acng on his/her behalf) and an observaon form of the school environment (infrastructure, equipment, etc.). The SEPIP pre-baseline survey collected basic informaon on the target secondary schools in Eki State.
The main evaluaon research quesons were:
- How quickly do students and their parents update their beliefs about schools’ academic outcomes in response to newinformaon?
- How persistent are informaon-induced changes in students’ and their parents’ beliefs about schools’ academicoutcomes?
- How do student and parental inputs change in response to informaon about schools’ academic outcomes?
- How do teacher and school inputs change in response to informaon about schools’ academic outcomes?
- How do learning outcomes change in response to informaon about schools’ academic outccomes
